Built ca 1889 Notable features: Ornamental decoration over windows; 2 brick bays on North side Felix Lebrun (1790-1871) and his wife Madam Elise Lebrun (1805-1881), founder of Christ Episcopal Church, lived on the SW corner of Water and Williams [from] 1856-1871. Felix Lebrun served in the French Revolution. (For the story of Felix and Elise Lebrun see the papers Helen Harrelson gave to Christ Church in January 1973 and October 1974; latter one reprinted in the Shiawassee Gazette). Luther Comstock owned this property at one time. |
